Meet the family

We want to be a community where we lean in to Jesus and each other and where we seek to transform our communities, bringing God’s freedom to all.

Revs is a vibrant, diverse and fun family with many things going on throughout the week within the church and in the wider community. We have the great privilege of partnering with local agencies and government to meet different needs in our city. We feel passionate about developing people in their giftings and calling and then helping to be a springboard for them to launch into wherever God has called them.

Our Story

Revelation Family Church (Revs) is a church with three beginnings to our story! The first beginning was in the 1950’s when a group of spirit filled men and women moved into the city of Chichester to establish a church that clearly and regularly proclaimed the GoodNews of Jesus. This was beginnings of Chichester Family Church.

The second beginning was in the early 1980’s when a group of local young people who had no connection with church or faith encountered God and planted a church called Revelation Church. Our third beginning was in 2016 when these two beginnings merged and became one story and one church. Revelation Family Church was established. Another beginningRevs was involved with came in September 1999 when the first ever 24-7 prayer room opened with us. It was launched by the youth and student congregation, ‘Warehouse’ which was led by Pete and Sammy Greig.
