Believers Church is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Our vision is to be near and like Jesus. Our mission, i.e. how we become near and like Jesus, is to be his disciples who make disciples.
We gather each Sunday morning to worship, connect, and grow as we follow Jesus together.
We practice team leadership in worship and teaching, encourage freedom of expression in worship, and remain open to hearing and discerning the prophetic together as a community.
Believers Church began in 1997 as a fast-growing congregation. During our early years, however, a leadership failure occurred that scattered the community. Those of us who remained were led by God to stick together and pursue healing. That season of perseverance gave birth to our identity as a healing & sending community. People from all walks of life—including pastors and ministry leaders—have come to Believers Church to experience healing, get stabilized, and then be sent out on the mission God prepared for them. Today, around 500 people call Believers Church home. We are deeply grateful for how God has leveraged our story for the last three decades to heal, disciple, and send.
