Meet the community

The Tulsa Boiler Room is a network of simple churches that meet in homes each week. We have a weekly rotating opportunity for the entire community to engage in men’s, women’s, and children’s discipleship, and a monthly all-together gathering. Since our formation, we have been facilitating a weekly meal for the unhoused of Tulsa. It started as a one-off cookout at the park, inviting a few friends from the street who said, “See ya next week?!” But is now a staple weekly rhythm and connection point for many in our community.

We focus on prayer, cultivating spiritual family, encouraging one another towards faithfulness, and living missional lives. We value hospitality, generosity, serving the poor, and creating safe spaces for people in all walks of life.

Our Story

The Tulsa Boiler Room was birthed in 2009 when the young people involved in a year-long discipleship training program led by Tim and Jill Way decided they wanted to keep meeting together, praying together, and pursuing Jesus together. There have been many weddings and babies since then, and we are now an eclectic group made up of almost half children!
