Storm Worthing is a charity, church and community group. Our vision is to encourage people of all ages, abilities, backgrounds to find their God given talents and gifts and use them to bless their community. To that end we offer opportunities to join various groups and clubs throughout the week. On a Sunday we run social events as well as once a month hosting a Prayer and Art Space at our base on Rowlands Road. Twice a month on a Sunday we have a band and teaching, one of those Sundays is also a family meal and we share the bread & cup.
Storm’s origins was a street performing arts group using song, dance and drama to engage people in Worthing, around the country and in Poland with questions of faith. As time went by we felt we needed to serve first and earn the right to speak. So we started with regular litter picking, gift giving, gardening in our town while meeting in the leaders home on a Sunday. This gradually developed into the shape you see today. We have finally found a home in 24-7 where their core values of prayer, mission, justice, hospitality, learning and creativity fully resonate with us.
