Grace church is a community who have been on a journey building a church family together since 2021 (some have known each other longer) We are passionate about prayer. Prayer is the most prevalent part of our monthly focus – every month! Seeking God’s breakthrough and being close to Him – in all things.
We are based in a social housing estate and we absolutely love our community – we have lots of fun and lots of tears – and everything in between! We have a community of around 200ish people who are a part of our gathered church – not all arrive every week! We feel passionately that we are based where we are for a reason (we have a wider community who call Grace Church ‘their Church’ although they may have never been to a service!)
We have three main values that explain our passions a little, they are based around – Gods love, Gods truth and Gods power. We want to be wholeheartedly seeking after Him in everything..
Grace Church Shrewsbury started in 2021, and were commissioned into 24-7 prayer in May 2026 – having built relationships since 2022. We wanted to build relationships with other like minded people with similar values and passions – and have done just that! Particularly with the focus on prayer, mission and justice – what a journey so far!
We would like to champion even more engagement in prayer in our Church family, the community, and wider across our town. And be ‘present with His presence’ in all we do as we love and serve those in our reach.
We want to be a signpost to Jesus – we have a reminder each week (prophetically based on some imperfect heart shaped pebbles) that although we are very aware that we are all imperfect – we have a perfect heavenly Father who loves us and covers us.
