Espace Sélah is a community who run a farm and offer space for people to stay with us for up to a few months. We believe that spending time with other people, helping to look after animals and working in nature can greatly aid in restoring people back to health. We are three families who are committed to God and each other and who have been living a shared rhythm of prayer and hospitality for a number of years and have recently begun farming together.
It began with the dream of living together in a space large enough for others to join us in. We felt we wanted to help others who have been less fortunate of who are looking for a shoulder to lean on.
When we stumbled upon a farm that was to be sold, and realized its potential for our project, we felt God inviting us to step into this new territory, learn farming and dare to let go of parts of our old lives.
Sandra and Andreas H. and Stefanie and Christian W. have now been living and working on the farm for two years; Sandra and Mathias B. have not yet made the move but are also an integral part of the project.
