Turret House is a place of prayer, creativity and retreat. We are based in Clitheroe, Lancashire, and are open to individuals, churches, and the wider community across the North West of England and beyond!
We are a 24-7 Prayer Community, centered on the values of prayer, mission and justice, and are passionate about creating spaces where we host the presence of God through rhythms of prayer and worship; spaces where people can ‘breathe in’ God’s presence so they can ‘breathe out’ His love in their own communities and the wider world.
The Turret House community was started by three families who God called together to serve the local region (and beyond) through prayer. As part of our ecosystem, our core team helps to steward a local performing arts venue, underpinned by faith, a Christian grant making charity and the work and mission of the house of prayer and retreat space. We are passionate about forming kingdom partnerships with others and work closely with local churches and leaders across the region to help foster prayer, mission, and justice. Our core team community is made up of 9 adults, with many other adults, families, and children forming part of the wider community rhythms and activities.
