Isabella, an 18-year-old from Kings Community Church in Bangor, Northern Ireland, felt God calling her to “be strong and courageous” – and so she got involved with running her church’s prayer room for the Global Week of 24-7 Prayer!
Hear her talk about her experience:
This was her church’s very first prayer room – and the community, young and old, loved it!
“Children were coming and engaging in prayer, which was so encouraging!”
And, significantly, this week of prayer has been a catalyst – now Isabella’s church is intentional about setting up prayer spaces and weaving prayer into everything they do. “Over the summer we saw almost a thousand people on their knees praying for revival, and that’s continued.”
Isabella’s final reflection is that – “I’ve learnt how to lead as a servant of Christ.”
What an amazing story! We’re praising God for how he is at work in Isabella’s life and the life of her church.
