As CEO, Adrian will immediately implement and oversee a thorough organisational and culture review, aimed at building organisational capacity and positioning 24-7 Prayer for continued growth over years to come.
Adrian has a background in organisational psychology, change management and global experience of scaling commercial partnerships. Along with other senior business roles, Adrian has previously acted as a partner in Toward LTD, an executive coaching consultancy which provides coaching and leadership development for senior teams. In addition, Adrian was formerly the Chair of 24-7 Prayer’s Board and has in-depth knowledge of the charity, which when supplemented by his broad skillset and deep expertise in business, makes him uniquely qualified to lead the charity over this coming season.
24-7 Prayer has engaged with a recruitment agency to advise on leadership roles.
As a result, we are appointing Adrian as CEO now, to carry out a set of short-term tasks requiring immediate action. This will allow time for the recruitment of a longer-term CEO in the future, once Adrian has completed various specific tasks and helped to re-position 24-7 Prayer by building organisational capacity for future growth.
This appointment releases Brian Heasley from interim CEO. We want to sincerely thank Brian, who stepped into the CEO role in November 2021 and has worked tirelessly behind the scenes, leading 24-7 Prayer diligently through this interim period. Brian is delighted to return to his primary role as International Prayer Director.
