Safeguarding

24-7 Prayer is committed to the safeguarding of vulnerable persons and children from abuse. All 24-7 Prayer activities have a publicly declared ‘No Tolerance’ approach to any form of abuse and promotes a culture which supports this ethos.

Members of the public who have a complaint or concern relating to safeguarding should contact Keith Grafham, CEO using the email safeguarding@24-7prayer.com  Alternatively, you can telephone 01483 313655.

A full copy of our safeguarding policy is available on request.

Safeguarding and 24-7 Prayer Rooms

24-7 Prayer carries no legal or safeguarding responsibility for any prayer room or activity (either in the UK or any other country) that is run under the name of 24-7 Prayer and/or registered on the 24-7 Prayer website. Users who register with a prayer room are made clear that it is the organiser’s responsibility to ensure that anyone using a 24-7 Prayer space is effectively protected from harm. 24-7 Prayer offers a guidelines document to remind individuals and groups to think about safety and safeguarding in their 24-7 related activities, in line with the law of the nation they are hosting their activity in.

Safeguarding and the OMS

The Order of the Mustard Seed (OMS) is an ecumenical, lay-lead, dispersed community, formally acknowledged by the Anglican House of Bishops, and is a stream within the wider 24-7 Prayer movement. As an Anglican religious community, the OMS follows the guidelines from the Advisory Council on the Relations of Bishops and Religious Communities in their safeguarding policies. The OMS Safeguarding policy can be found on the OMS website https://www.orderofthemustardseed.com.
