Volunteer with 24-7 Prayer

England

Opportunities to volunteer with 24-7 Prayer teams and communities in England.

Opportunities to volunteer with 24-7 Prayer teams and communities in England:

Proximity Church Volunteer

Location: Standford-le-Hope, England

Time commitment: Full-time or part-time, from three months to a year

Open season: Applications are open now to start from September

Language requirements: English

Other requirements: We would need volunteers to come with two references, and where possible to complete a DBS with Proximity Church

The role:

To be a fully active participant of the life and rhythms of the church, including attending House Church gatherings, spending time in the prayer room, being a part of the prayer community (prayer evenings, prayer walks, worship times), joining in with Learning sessions as well as our wider family gathering. You’ll be serving refugee families and individuals as well as visiting more vulnerable members of the community, and there is space to create and pioneer new rhythms and life in the church and community too. You’ll also be a part of the wider 24-7 movement by attending events etc throughout the year and visiting 24-7 communities.

Hosting pilgrims, students and interested individuals is something that Proximity Church have always found themselves doing. Hospitality is a big part of our story and heart and we would love an opportunity to do that again. We can help with accommodation and food to some extent while you are volunteering with us.
