Opportunities to volunteer with the 24-7 Prayer Perú team:

Church Mission Teams 

Time commitment: We welcome church mission teams for as little as 10 days – up to 1-2 months, working part or full time

Location: Cusco, Perú 

Open season: Applications are open, volunteers are welcome year-round 

Language requirements: English, and a basic level of Spanish would be beneficial, but not essential as we have translators available. 

Other requirements: Good health is essential as we are situated at 3,400m above sea level. 

The role: 

During your time in Cusco, you will have the opportunity to: 

• take part in the daily prayer rhythms of 24-7 Perú 

• set up and run creative prayer spaces in a variety of settings (schools, parks, churches, children’s homes, etc) 

• Spend time evangelising in the Plaza de Armas and other squares in the city 

• prayer walk the streets 

• train locals in how to set up creative prayer spaces and how to prayer walk 

We would be able to help volunteers find suitable, affordable accommodation in a location of your choice (near us or in the heart of the city). We would be able to provide teams with lunches and dinners on days you are working with 24-7 Perú.

Individual Volunteers 

Time commitment: Any length of time.  We are open to having individual volunteers from as little as one month to 1-2 years! Being at altitude, the longer the time frame the better as you can slowly acclimatise rather than rush into your work. Part-time or full-time.

Location: Cusco, Perú 

Open season: Applications are open now and volunteers are welcome year-round 

Language requirements: English. For individuals serving for a longer period an intermediate-advanced level of Spanish is preferred (Spanish classes can be organised at the beginning of your stay if required) 

Other requirements: Good health and fitness due to living at high altitude. 

The role: 

Your role can be tailored to your God-given gifts, areas you would like grow in, or desires God has put on your heart.  

The work of 24-7 Perú includes:  

• Prayer Space in Schools work 

• setting up and running creative Prayer Rooms in a variety of settings 

• street evangelism in the main squares 

• prayer walking the streets 

• training locals in how to set up creative prayer spaces and how to prayer walk
