Since we launched Inner Room in 2018, it has been a joy to see people use it to carry their prayers wherever they go. Thank you for using Inner Room as part of your daily rhythm of prayer.
Now, a new version of Inner Room is on the way. It is designed to help you keep praying with more focus, more simplicity, and a clearer experience.
The new Inner Room is a personal prayer space that helps you build a prayer list and actually pray through it, in a distraction-free way.
We have redesigned it all the way through, with an emphasis on helping you learn how to pray for what matters to you, get guidance on topics that it’s hard to pray for, and sharing prayers with others, so you can pray for each other.
We have rebuilt Inner Room, which means your content from the current app will not carry over automatically.
Use the steps below so you can move what you want into the new Inner Room. Please note that some existing features will change, and not everything from the current app will be available immediately. We will keep improving the app and add more features over time.
What is Inner Room?
Inner Room is a prayer app from 24-7 Prayer that helps you to build a daily rhythm of prayer in a calm, distraction-free space.
Do I need an account to use Inner Room?
You can start praying immediately with Inner Room – no sign up or account needed!
Is my prayer data private?
Yes – your prayers are private. Inner Room doesn’t read, analyse or share the content of your prayers.
What happens if I delete the app?
If you delete the Inner Room app, your prayers will be removed and sadly, cannot be recovered. Future versions of the app will introduce optional sign-in and backup but this feature is not currently available.
What is the Daily Prayer?
The Daily Prayer is a short prayer rooted in scripture that’s provided each day by 24-7 Prayer in the app. It’s optional and designed to help you start praying right away.
What are Guided Prayers?
Guided Prayers are structured prayer journeys designed to help you pray with focus and intention. They’re themed around topics, so you can choose the most relevant for your current circumstances.
Can I pray and use the app offline?
Some content and features such as Guided Prayer will need an internet connection, but your personal prayers will be available offline.
Does Inner Room track my prayers?
Inner Room collects minimal, anonymous usage data to improve the app. Prayer content is never tracked.
Is Inner Room a social app?
Inner Room is not a social network, but future features may include small, private prayer groups – this is something we’re currently working on.
Is Inner Room free?
Yes – Inner Room is free to download and use!
Can I use the app on multiple devices?
You can install the app on more than one device, but personal prayers will only appear on one device – they cannot be shared across devices.
How do I enable or disable notifications?
You can manage notifications through your device settings. Open phone settings, find Inner Room, and choose whether notifications are turned on or off.
Where can I read the Privacy Policy and Terms?
You can find the Privacy Policy and Terms in the ‘More’ section of the app.
Can I change languages?
The new Inner Room is currently only available in English, but we are exploring translations.
How do I report an issue I am experiencing?
You can report an issue using the ‘Feedback’ option in the app. This will open your email app so you can send details of the issue to the team.
