Intro to 24-7 Prayer, context and prayer.
Challenge briefs.
Each team shares the challenge they’ve chosen, their initial idea and why they think it’s worth exploring. No prototype needed at this stage.
Take stock of what you’ve learned, share your progress and consider whether your approach needs adjusting.
What’s the core thing you want to demonstrate? What still needs to happen to make it work, and what can you leave behind?
Discover the ideas behind the 24-7 Prayer Hackathon.
To give you a flavour of what you might be able to contribute to, have a read of the hackathon challenges* below. These are just an initial steer and the scope is deliberately broad. The direction of the challenges will depend on you, your ideas, contributions and skills developing an answer to these questions. You may even be inspired with an idea of your own.
*Please note these ideas are subject to change.

In short, no. Everyone is welcome. 24-7 Prayer is an interdenominational prayer movement. As such, corporate prayer will be a significant part of this event. You will not be pressured to take part in this if you don’t want to, but participants should be comfortable to support and uphold 24-7 Prayer’s missional aims and Christian values.
24-7 Prayer exists to revive the church and rewire the culture through an international movement and communities of non-stop prayer, mission and justice. We started in 1999, when a simple student-led prayer vigil went viral and groups all over the world joined in to pray. Now, over two decades later, thousands of communities have taken part in 24-7 Prayer in churches, communities and cities in over half the countries on earth.

Join us for a unique gathering of product owners, developers, designers, and innovators as we come together to tackle real challenges in helping people grow deeper in their prayer life.
Through a collaborative hackathon, we’ll combine creativity, technology, and user-centred thinking to explore new ways of supporting prayer in today’s world.
Taking place on the evening of 10 November and throughout 11 November at the beautiful Waverley Abbey House, Farnham, this summit offers a truly inspiring setting. Situated on a site that has hosted a praying presence for over 1,000 years, Waverley Abbey provides the perfect environment to imagine, create, and build solutions that could impact prayer for generations to come.
Together, we’ll innovate, prototype, and collaborate in service of a simple but profound mission: helping more people encounter Jesus through prayer.
Take a look at the hackathon challenges you’ll be working on in the Get Involved tab.
