24-7 Ibiza Report
Published: July 5th, 2006
Summer season has kicked off in a big way in Ibiza with all the opening parties taking place and the crowds starting to stream into Europe’s party capital.

The first 24-7ibiza summer team has been here and in the space of a great two weeks they have managed to pray in a number of clubs, serve by ground clearing in a local school, give out cold oranges along the beach, pray around a lot of the island and on top of all that spend many evenings/nights in the West end of San Antonio. It was during the west end times that they saw their greatest visible response.
The team report:
We had people back to our newly established and permanent prayer room - a couple of workers and some holidaymakers.

One guy (who wasn’t drunk) said “this is the best place I have been to in my whole time on the island”. Another guy, Scotty urinated on the landing outside our prayer room twice, but later became a Christian, although he was a little drunk at the time; when we spotted him the next day, sober, he still wanted to talk about God. We hope to connect with him back in the UK.
We were able to pray with over 100 people. People wanted to be listened to and the levels of openness were fantastic.
Here are a few of the prayers written by people out for a good night in the west end; each is now pinned on our prayer room wall.

Samantha – her Gran and Grandad died her family are finding it hard to cope
Gill – Jane’s baby in hospital
We could go on but we hope this gives you a snippet of the real lives we are touching and the real people who we hope to have helped on their journey towards God.
This is just the beginning - please pray that all we try to do here has the breath of God on it. The sights can be wild, the excess extreme and the vibe intimidating but this is where we are meant to be and we are totally assured that God walks with us.
Thank you
