24-7 Summer Missions: The Time is Now!

STILL WAITING FOR THE GREEN LIGHT?
So here’s the news many of you have been waiting for! Its pray, play and obey time – its 24-7 mission teams 2006...
 
It's another exciting menu of teams opportunities with excellent training, a Transmission day and teams fanning out all over the place. Hundreds of people from many nations have taken persistent prayer and servant evangelism to some of the least reached high place of youth culture over the last 5 years. Here’s why we do it.
 
Mobilize means move
Take a look through the gospels and Acts. Note how many times words like ‘leave, go and send’ are used. Jesus never calls us to be static – he is calling His people to be mobile and find the places He is calling them to be. There are no unreached places - whether its New Belgrade, San Antonio, Luton or Macedonia – God is already there doing amazing things. However unless we move when God calls us nothing will be established – Jesus commands us to go.

Pray, play and obey
We go in teams to work alongside some great groups of people who are building gospel communities in some of the most neglected parts of the world. The harvest is there but they don’t have many co-workers.
 
Its quite simple – we pray persistently and obey what Jesus asks us to do in serving people where we are. We also celebrate what God is already doing, have fun and enjoy the privilege of being in very special places:

Ibiza Mission teams (6 teams of 8 people)
        Jun 10 to Jun 24: £410 plus flights       
        Jun 24 to Jul 8: £410 plus flights  
        Jul 10 to Jul 22: £470 plus flights
        Jul 22 to Aug 5: £470 plus flights
        Aug 5 to Aug 19: £470 plus flights
        Aug 19 to Sep 2: £470 plus flights
 
Belgrade Mission teams
        May 5 to May 15th: £300 plus flights
        Summer long team: cost will vary on length on stay
        July 11 – July 28: £350 plus flights
 
Macedonia Mission team (6-10 people)
        July 11 – end of July: £350 plus flights
 
Italy Mission team (4-8 people)
        July 11th - 25th (optional extra week to Aug 1) 
        £550 all inclusive 
 
Edinburgh Mission team (8-12 people)
        August: Festival is 6-28 August: £300 all inclusive
 
Croatia (6-10 people)
        Probably July after the training: £350 plus flights 
 
City of London Boiler Room Team: (6-8 people)
        Probably July after the training: Cost tbc 
 
So how does it work?
It’s quite simple – our mobilisation and mission gathering is happening from 7th to 10th July and then the teams are going out. The training will build on last year’s festival with a 24-7/ Transmission day and some great speakers at Harpenden in the UK.
