Travel

Train

Rotterdam Central Station has direct routes from Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport, as well as Brussels, Antwerp, Paris, and London (Eurostar).

The train to Rotterdam Central from Amsterdam is the intercity direct – this is the most direct service and needs a different ticket (30 minutes).

Plane

You can fly into Rotterdam The Hague Airport, or you can fly into Amsterdam Schiphol Airport which has a 25 minute train directly into the heart of Rotterdam.

Ferry / Coach

It is possible to travel to Rotterdam from the UK via ferry with daily departures from Harwich to Hook of Holland. Cabins are available. Hook of Holland is a 30-minute drive to central Rotterdam.

Rotterdam is easy to reach by coaches throughout Europe. There are daily coaches from London Victoria which makes use of the Dover to Calais ferry route.

Car

Rotterdam is easily accessible by car.

Parking on the road is pretty expensive (€3/hour). Some parking garages are less expensive in the area.

Cheaper is the Park&Ride – Kralingse Zoom 70, 3062 SM Rotterdam. Park and take the metro (A, B, C) to Gerdesiaweg (6 min). Park first 72 hours for free (after that €0.50/14 minutes – €21/ day) (metro tickets are needed for payment)

Bicycle

In addition to the metro and taxi services, Rotterdam has excellent cycle routes. Bikes can easily be rented via apps such as Donkey Republic and Lime, and are a great way to explore the city.

About

We are planning to host our Annual 24-7 Leaders Roundtable from 29th October – 31st October this year and would love for you to attend.

Last year we spend a brilliant few days together and as part of our reshaping the 24-7 Prayer event calendar we’ve decided to gather the Roundtable together ahead of our annual Gathering. This does mean we are removing the Leaders Day and plan to host a communities stream this alongside our seminars through the Gathering.

The Roundtable is an important part of our annual calendar when we gather key leaders from the movement (National Leaders/Co-ordinators, Communities and those with Translocal apostolic ministries). Please note this is an invite only event.

We use our time to come together as a family of leaders to think, relate, listen and pray as a movement. Over the years the Roundtable has been a context in which relationships have been consistently renewed, and God has been able to speak into the movement.

Why Rotterdam?

The 24-7 Prayer Netherlands team are welcoming us to Rotterdam for The Gathering ’24, and we’re so excited! There’s a 24-7 House of Prayer in Rotterdam, and if you were at The Gathering last year, you might remember that the Generosity Auction raised money to help the team launch a community cafe. We’re looking forward to seeing the cafe, visiting the house of prayer, and experiencing Dutch hospitality.

Rotterdam is a beautiful city with plenty of accommodation and great transport links to the rest of Europe.
