“…on the second night of prayer, Lviv was under heavy attack — with explosions and enemy drones buzzing above the city. And yet, even in those dark hours, God revealed his presence again and again…”
We’re so encouraged to share this powerful update from our friends at Vidnova in Lviv, Ukraine, who recently hosted their first-ever 24-7 prayer retreat – 50 hours of non-stop prayer, worship, and encounter.
Designed for their community and friends, the team transformed the space into eight creative prayer zones, each offering a unique way to connect with God.
The impact of the retreat was deep and unexpected. People spoke of healing, clarity, and a renewed closeness with God. Remarkably, on the second night, while Lviv was under heavy attack with drones and explosions overhead, the team testified to a strong sense of God’s peace and presence in the midst of chaos.
Let’s keep praying for Ukraine — and for many more moments like this across the world.
At The Gathering ’24 in Rotterdam last year, Ian Nicholson and Natali Yelizorova led a seminar on lessons from the Ukrainian church to equip you to live life on the edge and find Jesus there.
We are bringing every country in the world to gather for one week of non-stop prayer, from 1-7 September 2025.
