Get Involved: Love Students

This September we are inviting churches and people of faith across Great Britain to LOVE STUDENTS, as many young people head back to university or face moving away for the first time.

This page is filled with resources to help the church pray for students and bless them with acts of kindness, enabling students to process the past year and to prepare for the year to come.

SHARE KINDNESS:

  1. Food: Managing food and shopping can be hard when you first leave home. This is even more of a challenge in current times. Why not wrap a comfort parcel filled with snacks and treats?
  2. Thoughts: Keeping negative thoughts at bay when you are away from family or in a new place can be difficult. Why not write an encouraging note and send it to a student to keep them positive.
  3. Coffee: Whether working from home or on campus, coffee is a student essential. Why not give a student a Coffee Card to bless them when work is getting full on.
  4. Community: Meeting new people can be a challenge when starting out at university, offering community to those you meet can make such a difference. Invite a student to church or for dinner, and bless them with church family.
