Prayer For The Nation - 29 Jan 2021

24-7 Prayer is joining with the Archbishops of Canterbury and York to invite you to pray daily for Great Britain.

As we mourn the loss of more than 100,000 people to the COVID-19 pandemic, join with Christians across the country in prayer.

‘100,000 ISN’T JUST AN ABSTRACT FIGURE. EACH NUMBER IS A PERSON: SOMEONE WE LOVED AND SOMEONE WHO LOVED US. WE ALSO BELIEVE THAT EACH OF THESE PEOPLE WAS KNOWN TO GOD AND CHERISHED BY GOD...

WE THEREFORE ENCOURAGE EVERYONE WHO IS FEELING SCARED, OR LOST OR ISOLATED TO CAST THEIR FEARS ON GOD.'

THE ARCHBISHOPS OF CANTERBURY & YORK

GET INVOLVED:

Pause and pray every day
Set an alarm and at 6pm each day, stop and pray for those impacted by the pandemic.

Cry out to God for families and friends, pupils and educators, the isolated and vulnerable, business and the economy, the NHS and keyworkers, as well as those in local and national Government.

Add your ‘Amen’:
