You'll spot numerous dedicated areas around our village where you can lock your cycle away safely whilst you explore the forest. Please make use of these, as abandoned cycles may be recovered and taken back home to the Cycle Centre. Information •We recommend that you wear a helmet at all times. Don't have your own? We have them available for you to hire • In our forest setting, the ground can become wet and icy. Please allow longer braking distances in these conditions and always use both brakes together • We recommend with our Premium and Electric Cycles that you familiarise yourself with the brakes, as they are more powerful than other cycles. Please also ensure with these models that they are locked by at least one wheel and the frame when leaving them in designated areas •Take extra caution when using our Electric Cycles as they can be more difficult to control due to the extra weight • Take extra care to watch out for your little ones as they cycle around the village. Babies under 6 months old should not be put into the cycle trailers •The trailers are safely set up ready for your use. Please do not tamper with these or any child seats fixed onto your cycle. If you are using a trailer with an Electric Cycle, do not exceed 10mph •Whilst our pathways are very well lit, please use your lights when it is dark so you are visible to other guests • For your safety, and that of other guests, keep to the left around the village and avoid cycling on roads adjacent to the Arrivals Area.

You may be aware that for the last 10 years Pete Greig and Ken Costa have convened a group of senior national leaders who met at first in St George’s House in Windsor Castle and subsequently at another Royal property in Windsor Great Park. The purpose of the gathering is to gather Christian leaders across the streams to grapple with some of the key areas being faced not only in the church but in society as a whole, whilst listening to God for the nation and building deeper friendships.
This is an invitation only event. Our key objective is to strengthen the relational ties that could exist between various leaders who all suffer from severe time constraints. In 2024 we are moving the Windsor Gathering to Center Parcs in Woburn Forest which offers better space for informal recreation as well as meeting together.
Each time we gather we welcome world-class input from trusted leaders. In 2023 N.T. Wright joined us and in the past we have heard from Desmond Tutu, Rick Warren, The Archbishop of Canterbury and Andy Stanley.
We are absolutely delighted to confirm that Rick Warren will be with us in person at the Windsor Gathering next year. As we are sure you know Rick is a true Elder Statesman in the body of Christ globally, and has recently paid a great price, being kicked out of his own denomination, for taking a strong stand having changed his views in favour of women in leadership. This will be a rare opportunity to spend time in a private, exclusive context with one of the most remarkable leaders in the church, and if you know Rick you’ll be aware that he will be entirely happy to talk about all the difficult things we are currently facing with unusual insight and a global perspective.
We will also be joined by Jim Laffoon from North Carolina where he leads a large multicultural church. Jim is an internationally respected prophet with the Every Nation family of churches which works in more than 80 countries. He and his wife Cathy were at Wildfires this year and their ministry, public and (especially) private, had a profound impact on thousands.
We cannot think of a time when leaders have been under more pressure than you are now. Simply put, the issues are that much more complicated and the burn out rate deeply troubling. We therefore hope that you will be able to join us in order that we might learn from each other and laugh together!
