In a divided world, we sense God\u2019s invitation to unite\u00a0across national borders and denominational lines to\u00a0lift up\u00a0the name of Jesus.\u00a0We are\u00a0inviting\u00a0communities around the globe to join in\u00a0on\u00a0a whole week of\u00a0unbroken,\u00a0day-and-night prayer.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

Last year the first-ever Global Week of\u00a024-7\u00a0Prayer saw 140 nations host day-and-night, non-stop prayer for a week.\u00a0As we exalted\u00a0Jesus\u2019s name\u00a0to the highest place, we saw\u00a0churches\u00a0filling\u00a0with fresh passion\u00a0to pray for the world,\u00a0physical pain miraculously disappearing,\u00a0and strangers knocking on the door of prayer rooms, asking\u00a0about Jesus.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

Encountering his presence when we pray changes us. And as we are changed, we are propelled outwards to share\u00a0transformation\u00a0with those around us.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

What is a 24-7 Prayer Room?<\/h3>\n\n

A 24-7 Prayer room is a creative prayer space that enables a chain of unbroken day and night prayer, bringing friends, communities and churches together to seek the presence of God. Non-stop prayer isn\u2019t a new idea; it\u2019s a recurring theme throughout the Bible and history.<\/p>\n\n

For 25 years, 24-7 Prayer Rooms have been catalysts for outreach, mission movements, and social transformation. As we encounter God in prayer, we are propelled outward to bring hope and change to the world around us.<\/p>\n\n

You only really need three things to create a 24-7 Prayer Room:<\/p>\n\n

  1. People who want to pray night and day.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Some kind of shared space to pray.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. A way to organise time slots so that prayer never stops.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    How does registering work?<\/h3>\n\n

    When you click the link to register for the Global Week of Prayer, you\u2019ll be invited to sign in. If you\u2019ve registered a 24-7 Prayer Room before, sign in with your details. Otherwise, sign up to create an account. <\/p>\n\n

    When you register your prayer room, your nation is added to the map. You\u2019ll have access to the Prayer Room Sign-Up Tool that allows you to organise prayer slots during the week, and you\u2019ll receive resources and support to help you run your prayer room.<\/p>\n\n

    Why one week?<\/h3>\n\n

    Prayer is happening all the time, all over the world: so why do we feel God\u2019s invitation to a Global Week of Prayer? In short, this is a moment of profound unity as the global Church stands together.<\/p>\n\n

    We\u00a0don\u2019t\u00a0just spend time in a 24-7 Prayer Room to\u00a0encounter\u00a0God;\u00a0that\u2019s\u00a0only\u00a0the beginning. When we pray, we discover God\u2019s heart for transformation in our\u00a0world. We\u00a0humbly\u00a0expect that the outflow of our bold prayers and unity will be\u00a0expressions of service, humility, and self-giving love\u00a0that\u00a0impact\u00a0our world long after the week is over.<\/p>\n\n

    Does it have to be in person?<\/h3>\n\n

    Ideally, yes \u2013 there\u2019s something powerful about people gathering in person to pray. But we know that in some nations or situations, it’s hard to do that. So it\u2019s absolutely fine to:<\/p>\n\n

    1. Set up a virtual prayer room<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Do a hybrid: pray in person for part of the day, virtually for the rest<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

      Do what works best for your context. The main thing is praying together.<\/p>\n\n

      What if we can\u2019t fill all 24\/7 hours of prayer?<\/h3>\n\n

      The goal is non-stop, night and day prayer \u2013 but every bit of prayer counts. Whether it’s a few hours or one day, God hears and responds. We\u2019d love each nation to have a praying presence \u2013 even if it\u2019s not 24 hours a day, seven days a week.<\/p>\n\n

      With that said, it\u2019s also a brilliant opportunity to collaborate. If your church can\u2019t fill a whole week, who could you partner with? Other churches in your area, missions teams, charities, and communities can all pitch in to keep the prayer going. Please still register even if it\u2019s just for a short time. We want all to participate!<\/p>\n\n
