We’re a church of around 400 people who meet every Sunday in a local School. We love to worship, and we love our community. As part of our vision for worship we have set up Arun Creative which is about worship, community and the arts. We also champion and get behind Big Church Day Out. As part of our vision for community we have a community centre that has over 10 thousand people coming through the doors every year aswell as the services West Sussex Council run the church runs a cafe, 2 nurseries, CAP, and partners with the council in providing al the youth services for the area.
We began 37 years ago as 30 people planted into a village called Rustington from our local baptist church. We grew in size over time but also grew in our passion to worship and our passion for our community. In 1992 we started a small youth worship night called”Cutting Edge”which grew. Out of that, the band Delirious was born. The event grew to over 1000 young people meeting every month and the band Delirious went around the world .As a Church we inherited a little chapel in Littlehampton on the Wick estate. Our dream of it becoming a centre for our community became reality when the government gave us 1.5 million to build a community centre which has a massive affect on our community
