This is just a selection of the most encouraging feedback we've received from people praying 24-7 across the globe:
The Prayer room has just started, and there are already so many things to say and my English just isn't good enough to put them into words… The presence of God was absolutely magnificent. So powerful, yet so sweet… Prayers were answered, small things to our human minds, but incredibly powerful when we think of the transformation, the change it causes on those peoples lives... And I can now say that 24-7 prayer room is a part of our church (we have people of all ages coming to our prayer rooms. From only a few months old, to 70s and more, never forgetting our teenagers and youth). Portugal
[A 56 year old man] had problems with his back. He had to take strong painkillers and found moving around, even walking really hard. [Before our 24-7 Prayer Room] he had an appointment scheduled for a surgery. In… the 24-7 prayer room he was prayed for and God healed him!” Finland
After one of the last prayer times, we had a time of evangelism, and a couple in their 80s became Christians - he is blind, they're totally illiterate and very poor. They immediately volunteered to pray but we weren't sure they'd know what to do, so I kept checking up on them. Every time we went to see, we could hear them praying loudly… for the whole hour. Brazil
We had a couple of teenage lads who we know from our community youth club come in and do our walk through Easter [in the 24-7 Prayer Room], when it came to writing names of people they wanted to see become Christians they put themselves down! They also added prayers for their family and for God to have more to do in our area. It really shocked and surprised me as these lads are often 2 of our worst behaved and least likely to talk about God, this seems to maybe be a catalyst for them. UK
There was a new age fair in Oulu the same weekend as our 24-2… When one of my friends called the exhibition organiser she said that someone had just cancelled a fair stand in a central location… From the testimonies I heard, God has really been doing some great stuff. People got saved and lots of New Testaments were given out. There was also a worship dance group performing on stage. For next year the organisers were enquiring whether there could be some Christian lecturing about marriage, love and relationships. This would be alongside the lecture on astrology Finland
A lady walked into our hall at the same time one of our small groups was meeting for prayer in the prayer room. She wandered across from a domestic violence refuge house in our street. The small group embraced this very sad and broken woman and spent their time in the prayer room praying for and ministering to her. I walked into the hall as they were leaving and was introduced to the lady. The small group leader said to me, "She came in with a broken heart and met Jesus". Australia
I have a hard time putting into words the emotions that overcame me at that moment we entered the prayer room. At that point, I didn't believe in Jesus or God or much of anything, but I was rocked to the point of no longer being able to stand on my own two feet. I simply had to sit down… I was overcome with emotions. I sat there shaking with tears that I desperately tried to hide, I FELT something but could not, until now, put it into words. I FELT God. I simply felt HIS presence and was shocked. I was here on business, not for God. I thought I had given up on God. USA
For several years I have loved the concept of continuous worship and prayer to our God... However it seemed a long way in the distance. In May 2007 my pastor's wife gave me 'Red Moon Rising' to read. As I started to read, God reached out through the pages and grabbed me. It was as if I knew this was what I was born for! On July 9th 2007, after I had circulated several copies of 'Red Moon Rising' and after I had preached on the perpetual incense in the tabernacle, we began three weeks of 24-7 prayer. The immediate results were a huge increase in unity in our church. It was so amazing to read things on the wall and realize the Holy Spirit was speaking the same things to us all. Also many were touched by the presence of God in the room. Some would even start to cry as they knocked on the door to be let in. To cut a long story short, half a year later our 24-7 prayer is still going!!! God's favour has been on it so much. To make it more sustainable, and because so many were busy on Sundays serving in the church and with family, we have a break for 24 hours from Sunday 5 a.m. till Monday 5 a.m. (I hope it is OK to still call it 24-7!). It has been a tremendous week for us in our church… The impact this duration has had in our lives is indelible and has left a permanent mark of change in our prayer patterns, the way we perceive God, and even our intimacy with God has been greatly affected. I can pray more easily than I was doing before, anytime anywhere. Kenya
On Saturday, as part of our week of prayer we went out onto the streets of Dromore and handed out tea, coffee and kitkats and offered to pray for people. This has been something we have been working towards for some time and it seemed like a great opportunity to launch it during 24-7. Little did we know (but God did) that because of our local bi election our political parties were all out canvassing and we had the privilege of praying for our DUP, UUP, Alliance, SDLP representatives within our local community. To top it off First Minister Dr Ian Paisley was also in Dromore canvassing for his DUP representative and we were able to pray for him and his entire entourage on the street - a surreal moment in my life! Praise the Lord. Thank you for 24 Prayer it works and has worked for us in [the Kalanga] islands. In our prayers the lord revealed to us an island without the church and yesterday the island was found, 50 people were saved and church is planted because of prayer... The island is called Kacunga… I have just come back from there and the fellowship is so strong... [Kacunga] has no power, school [or] hospital and 99% are HIV/AIDS victims, but prayer is making a difference. The island is on Lake Victoria in [the] Kalanga district… their occupation is fishing. I am blessed to carry on Jesus ministry of raising fishermen from fishing to fishers of men” Uganda
I am in Baghdad, Iraq for three months to pray for the city… I thank God who has enabled me to start a 24-7 Prayer [Room] in Baghdad and also paying for my hotel bills... We had one of the most anointed prayer time this morning and all four of us we touched by the power of the holy spirit and we are seeing God at work here. Iraq
One lady was overheard saying ‘I feel like I have a crown upon my head’, later we discovered that she had become a Christian whilst chatting to some of the hosts in the room! Northern Ireland
We are still covering three days a month on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It starts 8am on Thursday and finishes 8am on Sunday every hour is filled now its flowing well. It took a bit of perseverance and God's grace! We have recently seen a lady get out of the wheel chair, and another throw away her crutches. Another had an inoperable cancer disappear. All verified by the medical people. It’s in direct relationship to the 24-7 prayer. UK
