24-7 Missions: Fancy a few weeks in the party capital of Europe?

We need people who are willing to pray, serve and witness here in Ibiza, people who are prepared to  worship God in a place where so many other things are worshipped, and to call out for him to show himself to people who need him; people who will show love and compassion to others, without judgement, because of the love and compassion that has been shown without reservation to them; people who will talk about the life that Jesus offers and people who will serve the community, even when it would be easier to lay in the sun.
 
For the last 5 years we have been sending summer missions teams to Ibiza.  This pine covered, sun kissed island lapped by the clear, calm waters of the Mediterranean sea is also home to the biggest clubs in the world and the most bars per square mile in all of Europe.  As such it has become the holiday destination of choice for hundreds in search of a ‘no limits’ party experience.   Many return  year after year as they feel a spiritual connection with the island and want more.
 
Our mission is to give summer workers, holiday makers and residents of the island, the opportunity to make a spiritual connection with God and to experience the abundant life that Jesus makes possible.
 
2005 saw the beginning of a long term resident 24-7 prayer community committed to prayer, mission and justice on the island.  This year we want to increase our level of involvement with the summer visitors to the island.  We have a prayer room and office in the centre of the westend of San Antonio – our base to work from.  We’d love to have 24-7 prayer here throughout June, July and August as well as lots of time to talk to the people around.  But we need help….that’s where you come in!
 
You don’t have to be a clubber to contribute, and this is much more than a summer visit – this is an opportunity to build.  As a community here, we know that your input will extend all that we are seeking to do for God.
