Springboard (varying course lengths)

24-7 Springboard is a course designed to prepare long term missionaries and church planters within the 24-7 Prayer movement. It is a springboard into:

  • Long Term Mission and/or church planting within a 24-7 context.
  • Quality discipleship that will support and strengthen 24-7 communities.
  • Mature relationships, adding strong cords that will help bind together the emerging communities.
  • Long-term mentoring providing support and counsel in the setting as well as mentors to walk with.

It also exists to develop leaders in pioneering situations.

24-7 Springboard is a two year development process which begins with an intensive 10 week course and is then completed through a 21 month ongoing mentoring and development process.

The aim is to develop those who will be long-term missionary pioneers and church planters within 24-7 communities, to equip teams to start Boiler Rooms or enable Boiler Room Centres to mobilise more people, resourcing communities within the movement. The learning environment of the 10 week intensive course is diverse and multifaceted and covers core 24-7 values and theology, principles for effective mission, simple church, God Story, character foundations as well the practicalities of cross cultural living. In addition there are tracks to fit the call and direction of each individual. Once the 10 week phase is over participants are expected to work out the training practically in their setting. During this period they are supported with a mentor relationship and regular input blocks.

Who is 24-7 Springboard for?

  • Those who have had a basic discipleship training and been involved with 24-7 who are looking for a structured pathway into long term 24-7 Boiler Room involvement
  • Those who are sent by their 24-7 Boiler Room to be trained to play a more effective long term role when they return ? possibly leading Springboard
  • Those who Boiler Room Centres are wanting to train and send into new pioneer 24-7 planting situations
  • Existing leaders, church planters and missionaries who are wanting to connect long term with 24-7
