Swedish churches are currently running an ad campaign on the Stockholm underground advertising Prayer as "always connected, always on, whenever, wherever and however you want." The text of the ad campaign, run by a group of Lutheran churches, literally translates as:
Wireless
Prayer is free
Constant connection
Pray when, where and how you want to
Free support in all congregations
"This sign have been posted on subways and buses all around Stockholm, even in cinemas before movies", writes Krister Davén from Sweden. It is the third time in 2008 that these ads have been up and we're curious to see what response and curiosity will come from them. They also ran an adcwet a couple of years ago which read:
Gemenskap, Hopp, Tröst (Community, Hope, Comfort)
Letar du på rätt ställe? (Are you looking in the right place?)
As the Church takes a visible step to provoke conversation we pray that God blesses their efforts and stirs hearts and minds.
