A vision for prayer, mission and church planting in Europe has been at the core of 24-7 since it was launched. The non stop prayer is intensifying and currently there are groups who have prayed continuously for months in places like Slovakia, UK, Germany and Finland. In addition people are relocating long term to mission locations in Germany, Ibiza and the Balkans and new mission communities are emerging all over the place. This is a time for Europe!
We are really pleased to invite you to spend a few days in May with the 24-7 family in the heart of Europe. The core impetus of 24-7 over the last 8 years has been to see a fresh wave of prayer, mission and community planting across Europe and we want to give this time a special focus.
Brno is a city of 350,000 and the capital of Moravia in the Czech Republic. 24-7 is gathering momentum in both the Czech and Slovak Republics and it seems the right time to be there. Petr and Christa Beeldman and other friends from the Salvation Army will be our hosts.
During the days we will place a great emphasis on strengthening friendships and hearing stories. There will be space to pray and worship and listen for God’s prophetic word to us. There will be times to look intentionally at how to fan the flames of prayer but also practical equipping for mission and seeing new communities emerge. There will be lots of different languages and cultures represented and already we have already heard of people coming from Iceland, Switzerland, Germany, UK and Macedonia.
If you feel connected to the 24-7 movement and share the values of prayer, mission and justice you are welcome to sign up. We want to see people from as many different nations as possible. However we are limited on spaces so book early to avoid disappointment!
We have chosen Central Europe as a location because it is easier to travel from all four corners of Europe. Many will drive but also budget airlines like Ryanair fly to Brno. Nearby large cities include Prague, Vienna and Bratislava.
We have been able to keep the gathering cost of the four days down to 25 Euros and there are a variety of accommodation options from very cheap floor space in a Salvation Army base to youth hostels and guest houses. Eating is relatively cheap and you could buy food from as little as 5 Euros a day.
We are aiming for about 100 people to be in Brno and have initially allocated limited numbers to each nation.
Please register and there is also the option to add an extra amount to help support those from poorer locations. If you can afford to add a little that would be fantastic – please mention that in the registration comments. Contact Phil Evans if you have any questions or queries.
Finally! If you would like to reserve some of the limited cheap floor spaces please email Phil and mention that. At the end of March we will confirm who has those spaces. We will prioritise those for whom money is a real challenge – please tell Phil if you have specific circumstances
