24-7 Prayer News – We’re growing!

It is a privilege to be caught up in what God is doing in prayer around the globe.  Week in and week out, I click on the link at the top of the home page and marvel at the number of nations I’m about to contact and encourage.  For a year now we’ve been saying that there have been over 60 nations touched by this wave of night and day prayer.  We’ve not been more accurate because we’ve struggled to find time between catalysing prayer and resourcing people to stop and check exactly how many nations are praying 24-7.   This week I decided to make the time.  With a mug of tea and a train journey to our London office ahead of me I started to count… Can I have a drum roll please…

24-7 Prayer Rooms have now spread into a massive 74 different nations within every continent but Antarctica!

Isn’t that incredible?  The wave of 24-7 Prayer continues to flow and we are still growing at an amazing rate.  Our story is becoming your story.  Our call to Christ-centred, mission-minded prayer is the call from God to all followers of His Son across the globe.  

As if on queue around our eighth birthday last week, a good friend Gary Zupkas emailed me with this fantastic and creative promotional film his church have put together to tell the story of 24-7 Prayer.  Why not take a few minutes to watch the work of Bryan Hicks and remind yourself why we pray day and night.

Carla Harding champions prayer in the International 24-7 movement.  Hailing from Chichester, England her life was hijacked by God in 1999 during a two hour stint in the first ever 24-7 Prayer Room.   Carla is very happily married to Stephen and loves worshipping, blogging, films, books, friends, food, live music and international adventures.
