Russian Teenager Saved in Prayer Room

Published: June 26th, 2009

“Prayer is not a strength of our church but we’ve been so encouraged by our 24-7 Prayer experiment!” Writes Aleona from Tver in Russia.  “The day we prepared the room and launched 24-7, a 19 year old guy came and gave his life to the Lord!

He’s a ‘Role Gamer’, a popular youth movement in Russia, and came to Alpha last winter but did not became Christian then. That Sunday he came to our church meeting and I invited him to look at our 24-7 Prayer Room. The Holy Spirit touched him, and I lead him in prayer to Christ!”

Aleona sent us a YouTube video of the simple room that housed the presence of God so strongly a teenager gave his life to Jesus…

“We feel God anointed our prayer.  The week of prayer blessed our church and finished the Sunday Russia celebrates Pentecost (it is differs from the western church).  We felt God's presence at the church meeting very special way.”
