24-7 Mission teams have had quite an adventure over the last few years on the Mediterranean island of Ibiza. Working alongside local churches, teams of young people have prayed and reached out practically into the heart of San Antonio, the party centre which attracts hundreds of thousands of clubbers each year with its offer of plentiful ‘sun, sex and sangria!’
Ibiza is an international island - its fashion and music culture literally influences a generation. It also needs Jesus!
The summer missions have attracted widespread, positive attention in news articles and television coverage, on both sides of the Atlantic. They have also built great links with clubs, workers, the local community and the churches. |

Now, after years persistently investing on Ibiza, 24-7prayer has a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact. We need your help!
The vision of the Ibiza ‘stalwarts’ has always been to establish a centre on Ibiza -building community and training young missionaries.

Through a remarkable set of circumstances, Brian and Tracy Heasley, with their two young sons Ellis, 9, and Daniel, 6, (see pic!) have been called to move to live on Ibiza this year to pioneer the next phase, in partnership with 24-7! |

The Heasleys have always had a heart for the nations. Brian has led mission teams to New York, South Africa and Northern Ireland while Tracy has been a missionary in Zambia. They have also worked in Kenya, Uganda and Lithuania.
Brian's also led DC3, a dynamic and innovative church in Norfolk, England. A longstanding friend of 24-7, he's been central to movements pioneering Christian mission into youth culture and he's now putting the finishing touches to a 24-7 book ‘Writing on the Wall’ (featuring prayers, poems and art from global prayer rooms).
Tracy's worked with Brian in establishing a great model for working with young people and adults in a pastoral capacity for over a decade. She's also an accountant, administrator and a rock climbing instructor!
Intimacy and involvement – the twin keys
The vision for Ibiza has been carried by many – particularly local Christians who have served, prayed and wept over the island they love and call home and the teams who have paid a huge price to give up summer after summer to invest in the dream of seeing Ibiza transformed.
The Heasley’s move, in April 2005, is essential in seeing a 24-7 ‘Boiler Room’ (prayer and mission community) established on Ibiza. Once established the team would look to open both a creative outreach base in the centre of San Antonio and then a recovery centre for teams and discipleship training inland.
The Heasleys are excited about this new development: "It's so encouraging that we are being asked to play a small part in a massive dream that many have had for years. At times it's both scary and exciting but we want our time in Ibiza to be used in building the team and establishing the base so thousands will be touched and changed for good."
This a massive step for this family and without God it would seem impossible. However the guidance has been very clear, the possibilities are incredible and God is faithful – so we must respond!

James Bullock (see pic right) has led 24-7 teams to Ibiza over the last few years. He says: "We've always known God's dreams for Ibiza are far greater than our own. The way he's obviously called Brian and Tracy is exciting and challenging for us all. Who knows what God will do? |

The Heasley's response to God has utterly challenged and inspired me - sacrifice has always come hand in hand with seeing God move in Ibiza, and this is going to the next level. I would implore anyone who is able and willing to get behind them and 24-7 in the plans to follow God into his unknown."
