Is 24-7 Prayer a 'youth movement'? I found myself questioning this concept when I recently met up with a lovely couple in their eighties who are just as energetic and on fire for the Lord as a couple of young people on the streets of Ibiza. I went to visit Andy and Audrey Arbuthnot at their home in Worcester.

Pete Grieg wrote recently about the ‘Lakeland Revival’ or ‘Florida Outpouring Meetings’ being led by a 32 year-old, tattooed, Canadian called Todd Bentley and aired daily on GodTV. Thousands have attended since it all kicked off back in April in Lakeland, Florida; still more have checked out video-clips of the meetings on YouTube and other websites; and there are many thrilling reports of healing, salvation, and a deeper desire for God.

The Global village can be pretty sterile at times! Worldwide communication spreads ideas and products with amazing speed and scope. Canadians, Colombians and Chinese watch the same films, wear the same football shirts and listen to the same music.

I was watching a TV programme last night which was discussing the sudden rise in the amount of biography's that are being written at the moment. You only have to walk into a book shop and you will be faced by the life stories (I say life, but some of these guys are in their 20's) of people ranging from top politicians to Big Brother contestants.
