24-7 activists from across the Nordic nations are invited to gather in Finland. If you’ve prayed 24-7 and want to connect deeper with the network of relationships across Finland, Norway, Iceland, Denmark and Sweden then this is the gathering for you. The 24-7 team will be present at a great and prophetically significant gathering called "Christ Day".
Christ Day is a nationwide day of prayer bringing 10,000 Christians from all denominations and churches from across Finland. The theme the event is "One name above all names", the name of Jesus Christ lifted up to encourage unity. The goal is that every person living in Finland would have at least one intercessor!
The event starts on Friday October 17 with an international evening gathering with a focus on missions. The prayer will be that the Lord would call thousands of young people from Finland and the Nordic countries to go into all the world to proclaim the Gospel. They don't want this to be a one time event, but part of a process strengthening prayer groups, encouraging the forming of new ones in every community across Scandinavia and for the whole of Europe as well.
You can find the program and other details from the Christ Day website.
“Our small 24-7finland group will be joining Christ Day with a chill out area, where you are more than welcomed to come and say hi to us, chat with old friends, get some new ones and pray,” Writes Petra Karilainen. “It would be awesome to hear what God has been up to in your life and get encouraged by each others lives! Looking forward to meeting you all in Turku! And if you have any questions, feel free to email me”
