We received this faith building report from a Prayer Room in Sweden this week. 

"I came to this town in south-west Sweden about a year ago and knew God wanted to see 24-7 Prayer happen here" writes Malin Stadig from Markaryd in Sweden. "God told me that a creative Prayer Room would grow, and that I was to pray until this happened.

I often prayed for God’s will and vision for the place, and at a Spring party a few months later my pastor remarked “I think we should pray 24-7 here – have you heard about it?” We talked a little that evening and I encouraged him to read “Red Moon Rising” which he did. A few months later the book was handed out to the entire leadership of Haga Church and began spreading to the Swedish Lutheran Church and other congregations. This made me so incredibly happy! There is a song with the lyrics: “For all you have decided, what is written, will be fulfilled, sooner or later, everything you have said”.  I believe that this is how God is. He has the ability to fulfill his work and what he has decided for 24-7 in all the places that he has prepared and is preparing in Sweden.

So what happened during our prayer week? For starters, we are extremely happy to have been able to fill every single slot with prayer! Something cool happened during one of the nights. A lady who had signed up for a prayer slot missed her shift. But God woke someone at exactly the right time and told him to go to the Prayer Room!"

• Felt God’s presence immediately as I stepped into the room. God is able to do far beyond what we can ask for or think, Ephesians 3:20.

• Already when I signed up for a slot to pray here in this way I felt such a longing and eagerness to come here and pray. When I woke up this morning and prayed in my bed I saw a fire

• I’m so incredibly thankful that we are gathered to prayer in this way. It means EVERYTHING.

• When I came through the door I was met with something that cannot be explained, but it was an “atmosphere”. When I sat here I suddenly felt how a pressure, almost an anxiety, left me

• Prayed that a friend of mine would get an apartment this week, and she did

• Thank you dear Lord for all the meetings between brothers and sisters in this room. Thank you for raising the temperature of love, the will to reconcile and the expectations of what You will do. Amen
