24-7 Reaches Twitter Milestone
Scot Bower  24th Mar 10

Last week we were pretty astonished to see the number of our Twitter followers (those who choose subscribe to our output on the social network platform) reach 2000. We think this is pretty amazing and love the privilege of interacting with so many people and stirring up prayer!

Twitter allows users to connect in real time with each other and with topics they care about. We've have been using Twitter to communicate prayer requests, share news updates and connect with our praying friends from all over the world. Recently as we've seen the horrors of the earthquakes hit Haiti and Chile we have found Twitter a really useful tool in which to mobilise and direct prayer in real time as a situation develops.

We promise to try to communicate the things that matter to you promptly, one of the ways we do that is through our Twitter account. You can help us by telling us the kind of things you want us to tweet, and the kind of things you really aren't interested in! You can also recommend others that you think we should be following and recommend 24-7 Prayer to your friends. And if you're new to the world of Twitter why not send us a message and say hi, we'd love to hear from you.

And if your virtual world is Facebook we'll be updating our pages over there sometime in the coming weeks too.
