Saints: New Book By Scott Bower
Mark Nelson  18th Nov 09

Saints’ is a brand new book written by 24-7 activist Scot Bower.  Originally from England it was whilst Scot was living in Germany that he was inspired to write his first book.  As he traveled to some of the historic hot spots of the nation he became enthused by the lives of Christian role models like Martin Luther and Count Zinzendorf. Moved by their example Scot decided to write about the lessons the modern Church could learn from them today

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us." Hebrews 12:1

“Saints” is a book about real men and women who lived and followed Jesus…

“My hope is that these stories will bring encouragement to our own 21st century lives.” Writes Scot.  “As we continue to understand and acknowledge the bigger narrative being written through the church in history, I hope the tale of our generation is the next glorious chapter in an ever increasing and wonderful chronology of heroes and Saints”.

Scot and his family are now based with a 24-7 Community in Skopje, Macedonia.  His amazing book is available through Amazon and in all good bookshops now.

Mark Nelson is currently taking time out to be Pete Greig's intern working both in the prayer department of a church called Holy Trinity Brompton in London and the communications team for 24-7 Prayer. He has just moved back in with his parents and loving it.... and just got engaged to his beautiful fiancee Jenna!
