24-7 Prayer "Virtual" World Tour
Jonah Bailey  6th May 09

In an effort to remind us all that 24-7 Prayer is an international movement, we'd like to start bringing you a periodic update on different stories currently being featured on different national 24-7 websites. In some cases, the content will be new stories never before featured here. In others, we'll be letting the multilingual amongst us know about translations of content featured on the international site that might be useful to you in your local context.

Without further adieu, let's hit the road...

CANADA

Daria writes that her community's particular brand of "U-Haul praying" is headed to the MoveIn Conference in Toronto. If you're in the area, look for the U-Haul truck in the parking lot of People's Church! There will be prayer going on in the interior!

ESPAÑA

The Oración 24-7 gang have translated Pete Greig's recent feature about some of the amazing things God has done through the movement in 2008. If you have mad Spanish skills or are in a Spanish-speaking context, "Agradecido por el 2008" might be both encouraging and useful.

UNITED KINGDOM

24-7 UK has numerous updates about prayer rooms in Manchester, Bath, Oxford, Scotland and Gloucester as well as the sad (but also good) news that the West London Boiler Room has closed it's doors. They've also got links to further reflections on Human Trafficking off the back of Peter Stanley's feature.

DEUTSCHLAND

The German crew have translated a couple of recent articles from the 24-7 blog: One about a prayer room in Albania and another about the awesome difference a praying community made during Rio de Janeiro's recent (and often deadly) carnival season.  They've also got the German version of Pete Greig's book "The Vision and the Vow".

SCHWEIZ/SUISSE/SVIZZERA

The Swiss gals (and guys) have more information in German about 24-7 Ibiza's work. Know anyone in your context that is German-speaking, is into Jesus and the clubbing scene? This might be something you want to pass on...

They've also got a German version of Pete Greig's "God on Mute" up for sale!

USA

Don't forget to get yourself to 24-7 USA's National Gathering in Minneapolis, Minnesota from May 21-24.  May 7 is the last day to get cheap prices!!!

Have you got 24-7 related reports of what God is doing in your community/context that you'd like to share with the rest of the movement? Don't hesitate to get in touch with us through the contact form!
