The 24-7 Board

Pete Greig (Int'l Team Leader)

Pete Greig is one of the founding champions of the 24-7 Prayer movement. He is also Director of Prayer for Alpha International and a facilitator for the Campus America initiative. Pete lives in Guildford, England, with his wife Sammy and their two children, and they are actively engaged in a missional community / training hub called the Guildford Boiler Room. He preaches and teaches all over the world, and has authored or co-authored many books including Red Moon Rising and God on Mute.

James Thomas (Chairman)

James Thomas chairs the 24-7 International Board and charity. He is the Managing Partner of Phoenix Equity Partners, a private equity firm which invests in private businesses, and a director of a number of its investee companies. With his wife Julia and their three children, James is actively involved in his local 24-7 community and they are passionate about prayer, family and justice projects around the world.

Jon Petersen (Americas / 24-7 Communities)

Jon Petersen grew up in Japan, raised his three children in Amsterdam, and now lives high in the Rocky Mountains, USA with his wife Mindy. After 30 years of helping to plant simple churches on three continents, he now traverses many nations encouraging 24-7 communities and mobilizing cities in united prayer, unity and strategy. He is President of CityForce, and supports the work of 24-7 Prayer in USA and Canada. Jon loves sushi and secretly dreams of one day driving his very own snow-plough.

Ian Nicholson (EMEA)

Ian Nicholson is one of the leaders of the Boiler Room community in Guildford, England, and is passionate about Church unity across his town. With his wife Jackie and their three children, Ian has a background in Bible smuggling, Church leadership and is also the Chaplain of his local Football club . With a heart for mission and particularly Europe, Ian co-ordinates 24-7's activity across the region.

Pete Ward (General Manager)

Pete Ward has spent the last 15 years of his life learning more about the journey of prayer. Living in Reading, Pete was one of the founders of the pioneering Reading Boiler Room, and has been involved in 24-7 since the rumours first started circulating that God was up to something new! Before being dramatically called to come and help 24-7 in the area of Operations, Pete worked for 10 years in the IT industry in the UK’s version of Silicon Valley. He enjoys music and photography, and sharing good food with friends

Carla Harding (England)

Carla Harding lives and works in Chichester, England. Married to husband Steve, Carla has been a part of 24-7 Prayer since a significant experience in the first ever night and day prayer room in September, 1999. Carla heads up the International Prayer Team that resources and supports groups praying 24-7 in nations without their own national leadership team and enjoys singing, dancing, blogging, films, books and travel.

Susanna Rychiger (Switzerland)

Susanna Rychiger is based in Thun, Switzerland and was one of the first groups to catch the 24-7 Prayer virus from Chichester, England.  She is passionate about two things: calling the nation to pray and discipling young people in prayer, mission and community.

 

Lyndall Bywater (England)

Lyndall Bywater lives in Canterbury, UK, with her husband Phil, her community friend and housemate David, and her two black labradors and one black cat. She is a freelance trainer, writer and consultant in prayer. She is passionate to see her city, her region, her nation and her continent brought to life in a wave of wild, radical prayer. And she also likes chocolate and tea a lot

 

Phil Togwell (England)

Phil lives in a big community house in Romford, near London, with his wife and three daughters - Megan, Poppy and Angel. Phil likes curries, walking amongst hills, late-night conversations and cleaning things. He's part of the 24-7 Prayer UK team, and consults worldwide on Prayer Spaces in Schools.

 

 
Daria Tomiuk (Canada)

Daria is the National Prayer Leader for 24-7 Canada and spends much of her time travelling her nation, building networks and relationships and encouraging prayer. Daria is currently studying citywide prayer for her Masters and is passionate about church unity and the relationship between prayer and transformation.

 

Wendy Andrews (USA/Asia)

Wendy is a Wisconsin native who migrated south to Kansas City in 2005. She worked with 24-7 Prayer USA for five years, helping to build the U.S. team and resource base as well as connecting university students through the Campus America initiative. Now, in addition to being part of the Kansas City Boiler Room's core leadership team, she's turned a good bit of her focus to encouraging the fires of prayer across Asia, where she spends nearly a third of her time each year.  As a matter of priority, Wendy spends regular time resting, running, drinking PG Tips, cooking large vegetable-full meals for friends and laughing.  

Sheena Littlehale (USA/England)

Sheena is from Portland, Oregon and came to England in 2009 to work with 24-7 Prayer. God, art, travel, photography, music, prayer, justice, reading, writing, coffee and dark chocolate with a high cocoa content are all things Sheena is passionate about. She has spent a lifetime learning the art of prayer and is passionate about the nations.
  

The 24-7 Council

The 24-7 Council has a fluid membership that is drawn from across the global 24-7 Prayer movement. People are invited to be a part of the council on a gathering by gathering basis depending on the agenda.  The fixed members of the 24-7 Council include the members of the Board, the Trustees, and the International Leadership Team plus the following trusted advisers: 

Lisa Borden (Tanzania)

Lisa Borden (along with her husband Byron) has spent 23 years nurturing new Christians, first among the Maasai in Kenya's wilderness, then among urban tribes of young people in Europe.  They now in Tanzania, continuing to living out the prayer, justice and mission calling on their lives. While balancing the roles of wife, mother,  and pastor / teacher / missionary, Lisa has found that singing in the shower & dancing in the kitchen keeps her sane. To dialogue with Lisa and learn more from her, visit her blog. Lisa and Byron have also set up a website to chronicle stories of hope from Africa they are involved in.

 Adam Cox (USA)

Adam Cox is married to Julie and they have a young daughter Lili. He is the team leader of the Kansas City Boiler Room and one of the innovators of the God's Story approach to understanding and teaching the bible, which has become integral to 24-7 discipleship and training. 

 

Andy Freeman (UK)

Andy pioneered the first 24-7 Boiler Room in Reading, UK, oversaw the development of other similar communities all over the world, and authored the book PunkMonk about - the story of the beginnings of the Boiler Room model. He is now training for ordination in the Anglican church, whilst planting a new 24-7 community called 'Reconcile' in his hometown. He has five children and enjoys sports, films, music and politics. He is an active member of the Christian Socialist Movement. 

Brian Heasley (Spain)

Brian Heasley is joint leader of 24-7 Ibiza with his wife Tracy; he is also on the International Leadership Team of 24-7prayer. Brian is dad to Ellis and Daniel and they has lived in Ibiza since 2005, establishing a permanent 24-7 base on the island. They work predominantly in San Antonio, one of the most hedonistic night spots in Europe. Brian loves food, Liverpool Football Club, eBay and buying clothes from thrift stores.  You can contact Brian and dialogue with him on his blog. Brian also owns over 20 pairs of shoes. 

Chris Jones (Canada)

Chris Jones is a project manager working in the Construction and Design industries who also heads up the 24-7 Prayer team in Canada. He lives in Niagara on the Lake, decribed as the prettiest village in Canada. He is married to Katherine and they have five children.

 

 

Billy Kennedy (UK)

Billy Kennedy is the Team Leader at New Community Church in Southampton, England.  Beyond Southampton Billy serves as friend and advisor to a variety of churches and Christian organisations including the Christian band, Delirious?  Billy married Caroline, who became a Christian at Community Church, in 1984 and they have three teenage children. David, Erin and Daniel. Together they lead the Pioneer Network of churches and ministries. He plays golf regularly, holds a season ticket for Southampton Football Club, enjoys cooking and entertaining.  

Terri Roberts (Trustee)

Terri Roberts has been involved with 24-7 Prayer in various ways for the last 6 years. During a year out from her IT Sales career Terri worked for 2 days a week at the Reading Boiler Room where her passion for prayer was ignited and she caught the 24-7 Prayer vision. Terri now lives near Cambridge, and when she's not selling translation services she loves to get involved in anything to do with friends, food, art or music.

 

Jani Rubery (Trustee)

Jani is an organisational psychologist and executive coach, she devotes her time to leadership development in a variety of organisations. She is a member of the Salvation Army, a gifted speaker and has written a book called More Than A Job - Making Lifestyle Choices with God at the Centre. Jani is also a trustee of The Matrix Trust, a local charity and Chapel Street, a UK charity.

 

Pete Worthington (Web Supremo)

Pete Worthington (aka Worthers) is never without an idea running around his head.  Currently overseeing the web development for the international web site, he is working to implement some of these ideas to help people connect in prayer.  Pete is married to Kate and has a son, Nathan.  He enjoys playing keys, worship, reading good fiction and proper cornish pastys!  He loves working with his team at Worthers particularly helping non profit organisations with web and media services.  Pete also has a heart for justice issues which inspired him to set up livinggenerously.com 

 

The 24-7 Trustees

24-7 Prayer is registered as a charitable, non-profit organization in a number of countries. Its international operations are registered in the UK (Company No. 04176643 / Charity No. 1091413). The trustees are James Thomas (Chair), Jani Rubery, Pete Greig, Ian Nicholson and Terri Roberts (see above for biographical information).

24-7 Ireland

Adrian Eagleson leads the 24-7 Ireland Team.  Adrian is married to Jenny with two great boys, Jonathan and Joshua. Former pet-food salesman, teacher, youth worker and now consultant. He loves traveling, going on diets and helping shape the 24-7 movement in Ireland.

 

24-7 Sweden

Sandra Palm lives in Stockholm, Sweden, with her husband Andreas and two children Emanuel and Olivia. She loves to see individuals develop and grow and spends time in a school as a couch for teenagers and children.  Sandra  and Andreas are involved in the 24-7 Kollektivet (24-7 community) as well as in the leadership of their church congregation, Tribe.

 

24-7 Switzerland

24-7 Spain

Aitor De La Camara and Loida Fernandez lead the 24-7 Spain Team.  Aitor and Loida live in the north of Spain, in a little city called Burgos, near Madrid. Aitor is a graphic designer and Loida is an English Teacher. They enjoy traveling and being around people, helping out whenever they can… Aitor loves music and discipleship. Loida enjoys spending time with friends and family, and she also loves reading, movies and working out!

24-7 New Zealand

Jay Lucas leads the 24-7 New Zealand Team. Jay and his wife Erin live and work in Aukland, New Zealand.  Jay is the former National Director of Youth With a Mission in his nation and now is the National Director of 24-7 Prayer New Zealand.  Jay is passionate about seeing a generation rise up in prayer fuelled mission and is known for his compelling communication on the subject.  He is proud of his Maori heritage and enjoys making friends all over the world.
