The Governance of 24-7 Prayer

Internationally 24-7 is led by three inter-connected teams:

  • The Board serves the 24-7 movement by listening to the advice of the 24-7 Council and making high-level decisions about the strategic and spiritual direction and focus for the global 24-7 community. The buck stops here.
  • The International Leadership Team (ILT) is the executive of the Board, outworking its priorities day-to-day. The ILT divides its operations into the areas of Prayer, Communities, Special Projects and Operations. It also supports the development of national teams and pioneer mission situations.
  • The 24-7 Council is an international advisory body, which gathers twice a year to pray and seek God for direction, on behalf of the 24-7 Board.

Legal Accountability

The movement was born in the United Kingdom and therefore the international Charity is legally registered in that nation (Company No. 04176643, Charity No. 1091413). In compliance with UK charity law 24-7 Prayer UK & International has a team of Trustees who accept ultimate responsibility for directing the affairs of a charity, and ensuring that it is solvent, well-run, and delivering the charitable outcomes for the benefit of the public for which it has been set up. Specifically in the "advancement of the Christian faith in the United Kingdom and overseas particularly within youth culture".
